In both stories, the main theme was love and hate. Hate drives one to pain but love helps move on. In Romeo and Juliet and Huckleberry Finn the love that the main characters have for each other takes them away from their families hatred toward each other.

Huckleberry Finn and Romeo and Juliet

These two stories are the same because they both include an ongoing feud between two families. In both stories, no one really knows how the feuds started. Both storied include two families who are constantly fighting each other. Another thing they both include is a boy and girl from feuding families falling in love.
In Huckleberry Finn, both families are aware that Miss Sophia and Harney run away together. Miss Sophia ans Harney  successfuly run away. The feud actually get worst once Miss Sophia and Harney get together.
In Romeo and Juliet, both characters die. The families aren't aware of their children's love until they are both dead. After Romeo and Juliet's death, the family feud ends.  

Mercutio and Buck

They are similar because they are both not scared to fight, both very loyal and both sadly end up dead because of the feud.
They are different because Buck is actually apart of a family feud while Mercutio isn't. Mercutio was killed on accident while Buck was killed on purpose.  

Miss Sophia and Juliet

Like Romeo and Harney they are similar because they fall in love with their families rival. They try and keep their love a secret. They both act different because of the secret they are keeping.
Miss Sophia is different from Juliet because she actually gets to run away but her secret is told before Juliet's.

Harney Shepherdson and Romeo Capulet

The most common similarity between Romeo and Harney their love interest with family's rival. They choose to ignore what people say and follow their hearts. They both tried to keep their love a secret.
They are different because Harney Shepherdson successfully runs away with Sophia and there's not that much background information on him. Romeo dies in the end but was able to marry Juliet without the families finding out.
